How Precious Pebbles Came to Life

I’m originally from Wicklow but now living in Wexford with my husband Peadar and our family.

I’ve always appreciated the benefits being creative can have but it wasn’t until 2016 after our beautiful baby boy Edward died that I learnt what the true value of being involved in art can do. I started my art as a way of self care and as a way to navigate my way through my grief. 

At first I started creating gifts to give to family and friends and through encouragement from Peadar and friends I took the leap and Precious Pebbles by Verna came about. It has evolved from a deeply personal journey of love with Edward influencing each piece in his own special way. 
I'm now mum to two more beautiful children, Ellie and Tom. I get to do special things with Ellie and Tom everyday but unfortunately I don't with Edward, but instead my art has become my Edward Time. 

Each piece is created with much love, care and calmness. It's beautiful that when pebbles and words are combined together they can capture a moment and convey a special message. My hope is that each gift will bring joy to others, just as creating them brings peace and comfort to me.

Delivery Information

We want to make sure your order gets to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our delivery process.

Once you place your order, we’ll have it ready for posting within two days. We take great care in packaging each item, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

Orders over €35 include tracking, so you’ll know exactly where your parcel is. If your order is under €35, it will be sent via standard post without tracking. If at any point you’d like an update or would like to request a tracking number, just send us an email, and we’ll be happy to help.

We’ve kept our postage rates simple and fair:

  • For orders under €35, postage is €4. These are sent by standard post and do not include tracking.

  • For orders between €35 and €100, postage is €8, and these orders will be tracked.

  • If you spend over €100, we’ll cover the cost of postage, and your order will be sent tracked for free.

We’re happy to ship outside of Ireland! Since postage costs vary depending on location, we ask that international customers get in touch with us directly so we can arrange the best shipping option for you.
